Telephony
COMPUTER TELEPHONY BOARD DIAGNOSTICS — Developed a
CORBA client server interface on a Linux platform for a computer
telephony board diagnostic tool. The CORBA clients were written
in JAVA, and the servers in C++, providing a distributed interface
between a JAVA GUI and the legacy background software written in C.
INTEGRATED VOICE RESPONSE SYSTEM — Developed, enhanced,
maintained, and supported an Integrated Voice Response system,
including applications which produced Visa Network transactions
for credit card authorization and end of day transaction clearing.
TELEPHONY SWITCH RESOURCE MANANAGEMENT SYSTEM — Developed
a Java-based systems management console for monitoring telephony
switch resource management via a Web browser over a corporate
intranet. The JAVA applets interfaced with an SNMP management
station via TCP/IP, allowing for the display and modification of
alarm and status data.
ISDN TELEPHONY CLIENT/SERVER SWITCHING SYSTEM — Wrote
software, system integration and system acceptance test plans for
an ISDN telephony client/server switching system. Designed tests,
wrote a complete suite of test procedures, and developed a database
for all test cases, including TCP/IP LAN and Frame Relay WAN
communications tests for the fault-tolerant UNIX platform. Developed
prototype GUIs and test-support applications for UNIX-based systems
using C/C++, Bourne shell and other UNIX utilities.
SS7 TEST PLANS AND PROCEDURES — Designed and executed
tests for a satellite-based digital telephony system. The system
utilizes a Signaling System 7 (SS7) network that supports a mixture
of voice and data applications. The network control system software
runs on Sun OS (Unix) and VAX/VMS platforms.
